Strategic Relationship Manager Role

As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining strategic relationships with insurers.

  • Seek out new working relationships with insurer offices and their associated branches.
  • Travel to underwriting offices to establish strong partner relationships and drive better prices on EB products.
  • Identify gaps in existing quote requests to optimize pricing on large insurance deals.
  • Negotiate with insurers directly to support our placements analysts.
  • Contribute to our overall Sales & Growth engagement strategy with Insurers and TPAs.

You will collaborate closely with the Sales and retention team, analyze claims, policies, and negotiate better quotes from insurers. You will also contribute to special projects with senior leadership and share pricing insights and best practices with teammates.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (preferably engineering) and minimum 3+ years of experience in account management/client management/business development roles.
  • Experience in operational/business development roles in high growth startups is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Familiarity with G Suite and Microsoft Office, including Excel, is required.
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and/or other relevant regional languages is necessary.
  • A strong ownership mindset along with a hunger to learn and iterate is crucial.
