
Sales Territory Developer

The primary responsibility of this role is to drive sales growth within a designated geographic area or territory. This involves overseeing the sales operations, developing strategic plans to increase market penetration, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Management & Strategy:Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve territory sales targets, business growth, and profitability goals.
2. Identify key accounts and potential customers within the assigned territory and focus on expanding market share.
3. Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and customer acquisition to closing deals and post-sale follow-up.
4. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies for optimal sales performance.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners within the territory.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Act as the main point of contact for key clients, resolving any issues and providing solutions as needed.
Sales Reporting & Analysis:
Track and report sales activities, pipeline progress, and market developments to senior management.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales transactions, and territory performance within the CRM system.
Market Penetration & Growth:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory, including new client acquisition and expanding sales with existing customers.
Analyze customer feedback, product demand, and competitive dynamics to adjust sales strategies and seize market opportunities.
Training & Product Knowledge:
Continuously enhance product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends to effectively communicate product benefits to clients.
Provide training to the sales team on products, sales techniques, and market developments.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
• Additional qualifications or certifications in sales or industry-specific areas are a plus
• Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory role (if applicable)
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, managing customer relationships, and driving business growth
• Experience in managing a territory, overseeing a team, and working in the relevant industry is preferred
