Software Development Leadership Opportunity

We are building a high-leverage product that combines social community and stock-market portfolios. This pre-revenue, pre-product-market-fit project requires a startup-like approach.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the tech plan, creating a lean, testable MVP for Android and iOS, and proving core product behavior.
  • Key responsibilities include building, deploying, and iterating on features such as manual portfolio upload, read-only brokerage connect, and live feed.
  • The architect will also oversee a serverless-first backend, ensuring scalability and ownership of infrastructure and releases.
  • This leader will hire and manage a small engineering team as the product grows.
  • Maintaining monitoring, Sentry/observability, automated tests, and shipping cadence is essential.

The ideal candidate views product and engineering as intertwined, with a proven track record in building production mobile apps and full-stack experience.

Requirements:
  • A proven history of building production mobile apps.
  • Full-stack expertise: frontend mobile, backend (serverless or Node/Go/Python), databases (Postgres/Supabase/Firebase), and storage.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs, OAuth flows, and secure token handling is required.
  • Certified expertise in CI/CD, app deployment to Play Store & App Store, EAS/Fastlane is necessary.
