The role of an Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist involves leading the development, implementation, and management of maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of engineering tasks related to instrumentation technology including field instruments, control systems, valves, and analyzers.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to align maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and strategy management to make informed decisions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of preventive, predictive, and condition monitoring techniques for assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedures and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Familiarize yourself with hazardous area classification and international instrumentation standards.
  • A skilled Instrument Technician with expertise in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of field instrumentation including control valves, on-off valves, and various field instruments.

This position requires 3-5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering and strong knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards.
