Job Summary
The Insurance Retention Strategist will play a crucial role in retaining existing clients and growing our business. This involves developing and implementing strategies to minimize risks, reduce costs, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Management: Analyze client losses and claims to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with internal teams to develop risk mitigation strategies and implement them effectively.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication, targeted marketing efforts, and personalized services.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry developments and ensure expertise in property, projects, and marine insurance products.
- Quote Comparison and Procurement: Source quotes from insurers, prepare RFQs, and compare quotes to secure the best deals for clients.
- Service and Delivery Monitoring: Continuously monitor routine services such as endorsement issuance, claims servicing, and policy servicing to ensure seamless delivery.
- Review Meetings: Conduct review meetings with clients to discuss their needs, provide feedback, and set goals for future improvements.
- Tailored Covers: Develop custom-built or tailored covers as required by clients to meet their unique needs.
- Claims Analysis Reports: Prepare comprehensive claims analysis reports and present them to clients to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, claims, and sales, to ensure seamless coordination and efficient service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, preferably MBA in insurance.
- A minimum of 3-9 years of experience in insurance companies, insurance broking firms, or client insurance/risk management teams.
- Excellent client engagement skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable quotes and terms for clients.
