The Business Development Executive role is responsible for driving revenue growth and improving sales within assigned business units. This involves qualifying and generating new leads, obtaining meetings with prospects, and closing deals with the support of leadership teams. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter who can identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources and drive them to closure.
Responsibilities:
- Identify target accounts for software services in ERD - Engineering Research & Development – space in Automotive & Industrial segments.
- Generate leads from these accounts & set up meetings for an introductory pitch.
- Mine the existing accounts & set up meetings for an introductory pitch with new connects within the same accounts.
- Rigorous follow-up to create opportunities & convert them to Orders.
- Create sufficient pipeline of opportunities to meet assigned targets for funnel size, bookings, billings, and collections.
- Work closely with delivery teams and other group companies' sales teams to develop existing group accounts.
- Take ownership of staff augmentation opportunities with HR/Partner teams.
- Adhere to review cadence and send regular reports on lead generation, funnel, etc.
- Conduct in-person facetime with customers and prospects (60% of weekly activities) and attend minimum 4-5 meetings per week.
- Create lists of target accounts in assigned verticals and NeST Digital's services with internal stakeholders.
- Identify stakeholders within each target account through desk research and categorize them.
- Understand NeST Digital's value proposition and develop content for mailers, flyers, and phone scripts.
- Reach out to target accounts via established channels (emails and telephone) and mass communication.
- Use alternative lead generation mechanisms to generate leads for NeST Digital.
- Maintain live trackers for all leads and have regular follow-up cadence with Sales teams.
- Collaborate with P&L, Delivery, and Technology Excellence functions to grow the sales pipeline and meet quarterly revenue goals.
- Consolidate lead generation data to support business development, Account Management, and pre-sales teams.
Salary Estimate: ₹6-8 Lakhs p.a., depending on experience and performance.
This role requires an individual with strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and the ability to network and build relationships. Additionally, proficiency in MS Office products and experience with lead generation software are essential.
