Security Operations Expert

A seasoned security operations specialist is required to drive the detection and response of company-wide security incidents. With a strong background in security operations, the ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience in the field, possessing a proven track record of successfully detecting and responding to complex security threats.

  • Design and implement effective detection rules based on thorough knowledge of organizational risks and threats.
  • Understand log formats, sources, and parsing for accurate data utilization in use cases.
  • Implement and monitor use cases using SIEM and analytics tools such as Securonix, Sentinel, or Splunk.
  • Define thresholds, logic, and conditions to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy using Alert Logic.
  • Align use cases with actionable intelligence by being aware of incident response workflows.
  • Develop and optimize KPI/KRI reports to track detection and response performance.
  • Analyze alert data to refine use cases and adjust logic periodically.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in security operations and incident response.
  • Strong understanding of log sources, formats, and parsing.
  • Experience with SIEM and analytics tools such as Securonix, Sentinel, or Splunk.
  • Ability to define thresholds, logic, and conditions to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
  • Awareness of incident response workflows.
  • Skills to create and optimize KPI/KRI reports.
