About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Platform Expert to lead the implementation and management of our OpenShift platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, API objects, and Operators.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading resolution of critical or complex OpenShift and Kubernetes issues, performing deep-dive troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning. They will also oversee and optimize cluster capacity, performance, and scaling, plan and execute platform upgrades, migrations, and architecture changes, and develop automation scripts and tooling for platform management.

In addition to technical expertise, the candidate should possess strong communication and presentation skills for client engagement and be able to mentor junior engineers, review their escalations, and build operational knowledge base.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Linux administration.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in OpenShift (v4 preferred).
  • Expert-level understanding of Kubernetes internals, API objects, Operators.
  • Strong knowledge of container networking, ingress, and service mesh technologies.
  • Experience with automation and GitOps tooling (Ansible, Terraform, ArgoCD, Flux).
  • Proven track record in leading platform upgrades, migrations, and optimizations.
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (latest version).
  • RHCA or equivalent advanced-level certification.
