Information Security Specialist

Protect our digital assets by implementing robust security measures, monitoring systems for potential threats, and collaborating with IT teams to ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enforce security protocols to safeguard against cyber threats.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
  • Investigate security incidents, develop mitigation strategies, and implement remediation plans.
  • Evaluate system configurations and applications to ensure adherence to security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and respond to security incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, and forensic tools.
  • Understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications like CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or GSEC.
  • Experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and container security.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of system integrity and data protection. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement robust security measures and respond to security incidents.
