Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor production systems and respond to incidents in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Investigate and resolve recurring issues by identifying root causes and working with development teams to implement long-term fixes.
  • Utilize monitoring and alerting tools to proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Build and maintain both production and non-production environments to ensure they are configured and functioning properly.
  • Work with databases to write and optimize SQL queries, understand database performance, and address related issues.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using Python, Perl, Bash, or Shell to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
  • Manage and troubleshoot job scheduling tools like Autosys and Control-M to ensure tasks run smoothly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong coding and scripting skills in Python, Perl, Bash, or Shell (proficiency in at least two).
  • Proficient in SQL and Linux/Unix commands.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exposure to highly distributed, high availability, and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Deep understanding of database concepts, SQL queries, and database performance optimization.
  • Experience with application monitoring and alerting tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, or Elastic Search.
  • Familiarity with job schedulers such as Autosys and Control-M.
  • Experience in building and maintaining production and non-production environments.
  • Proficiency with development tools like GIT, Jenkins, Ansible, or Puppet.
