
Manufacturing Industry Sales Professional

As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with our esteemed clients in the manufacturing industry. Your primary objective will be to identify and capitalize on opportunities that align with our clients' needs, while ensuring seamless communication and coordination with internal teams.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing them to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. They will be tasked with processing customer inquiries, preparing tenders, and following up on sales and after-sales services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process enquiries received from all customers, prepare tenders and follow-ups
- Coordinate directly with the customer and pass on information to other team members overall follow-up.
- Answer commercial and technical queries raised by customers
- Handle tactfully internal and external communications
- Coordinate with the production team and attend production meetings
- Monitor orders being processed, bottlenecks, hold points, rejections, material shortages etc.
Key Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of valve standards (BS, API, ISO, radiography)
- Tactful and polite communication style
- Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
