Job Overview

The Insurance Portfolio Manager oversees the entire insurance operation at a dealership ensuring seamless customer experiences and maximized penetration.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Drive business growth in new vehicle sales, renewals, and third-party customers to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  2. Develop strategic plans to increase penetration ratio and profitability while building strong partnerships with insurance companies, surveyors, and finance partners.
  3. Lead, train, and monitor executives across branches, setting targets, reviewing performance, and ensuring high productivity levels.
  4. Ensure adherence to regulations by monitoring timely policy issuance, documentation accuracy, and claim settlements.
  5. Liaise with OEMs and insurance partners for schemes, audits, and compliance requirements, tracking competitor offers and suggesting competitive strategies.

Requirements

  • Graduate/MBA preferred with 6-10 years of experience in insurance sales, including at least 3+ years in automobile dealership insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of motor insurance, renewals, endorsements, and claims handling.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales and renewal targets, with excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
  • Leadership and team management ability across multiple locations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements.
