
Africa Regional Business Development Director

The role of a Channel Sales Manager is to lead and manage B2B software sales in the Africa region. This mid-level management position carries full quota responsibility and requires the ability to independently develop territory strategies, manage partner relationships, and deliver consistent revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Own the complete sales cycle for assigned Africa-region accounts from lead qualification to closure.
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Develop, implement, and execute territory-specific go-to-market and partner strategies.
- Build, manage, and grow long-term relationships with distributors, partners, and resellers.
- Act as the primary liaison between the company and regional channel partners to drive pipeline generation and deal closures.
- Conduct regular partner performance reviews and provide business development support.
- Engage directly with C-level executives and decision-makers to position solutions effectively.
- Maintain an accurate sales forecast, pipeline, and partner activity tracking in CRM tools.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize account value.
- Work closely with Presales, Product, Marketing, and Support teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
- Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to product and strategy teams.
- Be travel-ready for international visits to attend partner and customer meetings, events, and exhibitions.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in B2B software sales with exposure to Africa or other international markets.
- MBA in sales is required.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience selling IT solutions (ITSM, NMS, AIOps, or enterprise IT software) is highly preferred.
- Track Record: Demonstrated ability to meet/exceed sales quotas consistently.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Tools: Proficiency in CRM platforms and virtual sales tools.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities.
