The Fundraising Executive plays a vital role in driving our fundraising initiatives, focusing on corporate partnerships. This dynamic, public-facing role requires strong communication skills, persistence and the ability to translate our vision into compelling funding opportunities for businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Outreach:
• Research and build a pipeline of potential business partners.
• Initiate outreach through cold calling, and email campaigns.
• Qualify leads and set up introductory meetings. - Proposal Development:
• Support in creating, customizing and presenting proposals, decks and communications aligned to key areas. - Donor Engagement:
• Arrange and attend meetings with business leaders.
• Prepare meeting briefs, presentations and follow-up notes.
• Maintain ongoing communication with partners to strengthen relationships. - Relationship Management:
• Ensure transparent communication and timely delivery of progress reports to funders. - Events & Experiences:
• Coordinate business visits to our centres and donor engagement events. - Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate databases, track outreach metrics (calls, emails, meetings) and report progress to leadership.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree in Business, Social Work, Development Studies or related field is essential.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in fundraising, business development or corporate relations is required.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills, with experience in cold calling and business pitching.
- Ability to create proposals, presentations and reports.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated, results-driven and comfortable working in a target-oriented environment.
Performance Indicators:
- Number of cold calls, emails and connections per month.
- Number of meetings arranged with business leaders.
- Proposals developed and submitted per quarter.
- Conversion of prospects into active business partnerships.
- Retention and satisfaction of existing partners.
