Role Summary:

This role is a key position within the finance department requiring a highly analytical and commercial individual who can drive financial performance and navigate complex business challenges.

The role combines responsibilities for managing the finance function with acting as an analyst for UK and international commercial teams.

The analytical part of the role involves measuring and analyzing business performance, including future projections, and disseminating this information through accurate dashboards and KPIs. This enables internal stakeholders to make informed business decisions aligned with financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and execution of audit of Internal Financial control over financial reporting and preparing internal audit report. Statutory audit, revenue audit, preparation of TDS return and Income Tax Return with support from local advisors.
  • Responsible for all accounting-related issues, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and providing timely financial reports and budgeting.
  • Review company financial reports, identify areas for cost reduction, and develop strategies to manage budget effectively.
  • Control income, cash flow, and expenditure, collect, interpret, and review financial information, and produce relevant financial reports.
  • Develop strategies to minimize financial risk, responsible for procurement, stock/inventory management, debtors, and creditors.
  • Manage payroll, prepare and analyze monthly Management Information System (MIS), and provide ROC compliances and annual filing.

Commercial Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Daily sales reporting, analyze financial data, create/maintain financial models for decision support, and report on financial performance.
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Represent Finance within the UK Commercial team, integrating business planning, accounting, and control into decision-making processes.
  • Participate in Finance and multi-function project teams, work closely with the CFO and Financial Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
