Financial Operations Manager

A seasoned Financial Operations Manager should lead a team's financial operations, encompassing financial planning, budgeting, accounting, internal controls, and compliance with local and international regulations and standards.

  • Key responsibilities: cost efficiency, financial reporting, managing the finance and accounting team, and serving as a finance business partner to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to improve overall performance.
  • Manage and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and the financial planning process to drive strategic decisions.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the preparation of timely and insightful financial reports for management.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, corporate policies, and internal SOPs.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize financial operations, enhance cost efficiency, and provide financial analysis for costs and variances to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team within the organization, fostering adherence to standards and high performance.
  • Identify and manage financial risks and act as a custodian of the organization's risk register.
  • Coordinate with auditors, manage audit processes, and provide financial information and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a finance business partner to provide financial guidance and support for improving performance and achieving operational goals.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant and very proficient in SAP/HANA 4.0 or above with a minimum of 18 years of experience in managing large financial operations and accounting.
