Senior Loan Manager - Personal Finance

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our personal loan vertical. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing business strategies, product development, risk management, partnerships, and digital growth in the personal loan segment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Strategy & Growth:
    • Create business plans, growth roadmaps, and product strategies.
    • Drive customer acquisition through digital channels, affiliates, partnerships, and co-lending partnerships.
  • Product & Process Management:
    • Develop innovative personal loan products aligned with customer needs.
    • Optimize loan approval timelines, onboarding journeys, and digital lending processes.
  • Risk & Credit Management:
    • Collaborate with credit/risk teams to define policies, scorecards, and underwriting models.
    • Monitor portfolio quality, delinquency, and non-performing asset trends.
  • Stakeholder & Team Leadership:
    • Lead and build a high-performing sales, product, and operations team.
    • Manage relationships with partners, fintech companies, credit bureaus, and lenders.
  • Financial & Regulatory Oversight:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Drive profitability through sustainable interest income, fees, and cost efficiency.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: MBA or equivalent from a reputable institution.
  • Experience: 10-15 years of experience in retail lending, with at least 5 years in personal loans.
  • Proven track record in scaling unsecured loan portfolios in financial institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of credit policies, regulatory guidelines, and digital lending.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Tech-savvy mindset with exposure to digital loan origination and alternative credit models.
