
Kitchen Operations Manager

As a Kitchen Operations Manager, you will oversee the smooth functioning of kitchen operations, ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation, and maintain operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop in-depth knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Manage peak service periods while meeting performance targets and exceeding customer expectations
- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Analyze and address customer complaints, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Administer training programs and performance assessments to enhance team members' skills and knowledge
- Maintain accurate records and reports on kitchen operations, inventory levels, and staff performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (Culinary Arts education preferred)
- 4+ years kitchen experience, including supervisory roles and leadership responsibilities
- Advanced understanding of kitchen operations, including menu planning, nutrition, and food safety
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Proficiency with kitchen management software and technology, including inventory control systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
