ESG Solutions Strategist

Our company seeks an ESG Solutions Strategist to drive our clients' sustainability initiatives. In this key role, you will work closely with senior executives to identify and address their ESG challenges.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth conversations with CXOs and sustainability leaders to understand their ESG requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Develop and deliver customized demos of our platform, highlighting how it addresses client pain points and ESG standards.
  • Establish yourself as a subject matter expert in ESG, able to answer complex technical queries on ESG frameworks, carbon accounting, compliance, and assurance.
  • Prepare solution proposals and decks post-demo, outlining how our platform meets client needs, including solution design, value articulation, and next steps.
  • Nurture partially qualified prospects through thought leadership, peer analysis, case studies, and ROI calculations.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Product teams to ensure consistent messaging and teamwork to win and retain business.
Requirements:
  • 3-6 years of experience in ESG consulting, sustainability advisory, or pre-sales for an ESG SaaS product.
  • Strong familiarity with sustainability frameworks, reporting standards, and assurance practices (GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD, BRSR, CSRD).
  • Proven experience conducting client discovery, building business cases, and delivering demos in enterprise B2B environments.
  • Excellent storytelling skills – able to translate technical ESG and compliance requirements into business impact.
  • Comfort with preparing solution documents, proposals, and ROI models that resonate with CFOs, CSOs, and board-level stakeholders.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to prepare peer benchmarking and market insights.
  • A consultative, client-first mindset with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly.
  • Bonus: Experience with ESG software platforms, SaaS workflows (multi-tenant, role-based access, data collection workflows), or carbon accounting tools.
