Job Title: Economic Strategist

\

We are seeking an accomplished Economic Strategist to support our Manufacturing department in driving research and analysis. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting surveys, collecting data, analyzing findings using analytical models and statistical techniques, and presenting research results in reports, tables, and charts.

\

You will also be tasked with interpreting and forecasting market trends, advising businesses, governments, and individuals on economic topics, recommending solutions to economic problems, and writing articles for academic journals and other media outlets.

\Key Responsibilities:\

  • Develop and implement research agendas and report concepts, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality reports.\
  • Engage with ministries, universities, think tanks, and other agencies to collaborate on research assignments, resulting in at least one co-authored report or publication with government or academia.\
  • Identify and prioritize research initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to determine topics of focus.\
  • Prepare discussion points and talking points for various meetings and discussion forums, supporting the department with relevant content and points for effective delivery.\
  • Make presentations in various fora, delivering crisp and impactful presentations during committee, council, and government meetings.\
  • Interpret issues and concerns raised by stakeholders, providing recommendations for solutions to these issues.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.\
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and developments, applying this expertise to drive informed decision-making.\
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, publishing articles and speaking at conferences to establish the company as a leading authority in the field.\
