Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior IT Support Specialist. This key position requires an individual with a strong background in IT infrastructure management, customer service, and technical troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Provide expert-level IT support to clients, focusing on exceptional customer service and timely resolution of issues.
  • Monitor and manage IT infrastructure, identifying potential problems and implementing proactive solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Troubleshoot Windows server issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system availability.
  • Monitor network security, firewalls, switches, and access points, analyzing alerts and diagnosing errors.
  • Manage and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers, including Hyper-V, VMware, Azure, and AWS administration.
  • NAS and SAN storage administration and troubleshooting, as well as planning for upgrades and updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans for IT infrastructure improvements.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Wintel and networking technologies.
  • Strong customer service skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of server and network administration, troubleshooting, and security.
  • Experience working with server roles, such as AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, File & Print, RDS, etc.
  • Expertise in Hyper-V and VMware, with knowledge of advanced features and configurations.
  • Proficiency in firewalls, switching, and routing, with experience in network monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of data center monitoring and operations, with a focus on optimizing system performance.
