Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Engineer to lead our packaging optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in minimizing packaging waste and ensuring optimal product protection.

The successful candidate will review merchandise to ensure suppliers use efficient packaging solutions, providing packaging specifications as required to assigned buying offices.

In this role, you will collaborate with the team to drive business growth and efficiency by implementing effective packaging strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize packaging design to minimize waste and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with suppliers to implement efficient packaging solutions
  • Provide expert advice on packaging best practices to internal stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and IBOs
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in packaging engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of packaging materials and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
