Job Title: Employee Relations Manager

As an Employee Relations Manager, you will play a key role in developing and managing the overall labor and employee relations strategy for India and South Asia. You will provide guidance to HR and leadership teams on employee relations strategies and positive employee relations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the overall labor and employee relations strategy for India and South Asia.
  • Provide guidance to HR and leadership teams on employee relations strategies and positive employee relations.
  • Stay updated on union negotiations, emerging trends in labor & employee relations and Labor Laws in the region.
  • Develop risk assessment, statutory compliances and governance process & framework and organize periodic audits.
  • Respond in a timely and legally correct manner to a wide variety of queries/questions from internal customers across Eaton.
  • Support HR & business managers with Eaton business excellence, HR operating review & other assessments.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education: Master's degree or equivalent experience in Indian labor relations.
  • Experience: 15 plus years of experience in Indian labor relations of which at least 4+ years at corporate level. Demonstrated ability to lead labor negotiation and should have signed labor/union negotiation contracts.
  • Skills: Strong technical expertise in the laws/statutory requirements related to unions as well as the practical experience of dealing positively with employee relations and employee representation.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts as a part of virtual, global teams.
