Operational Improvement Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Excellence Specialist to drive business improvement and efficiency across our pan-India plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a best-in-class continuous improvement strategy, leveraging process improvement methodologies and innovative thinking.
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and the Centre of Excellence to build a culture of continuous improvement, supporting manufacturing transformation and WCM practices.
- Identify and eliminate unnecessary complexity in business processes, delivering better value and efficiency.
- Own change initiatives from identification to project delivery via internal governance and controls.
- Implement the standard world-class manufacturing framework across pan-India plants.
- Collaborate with team members and business services departments to devise new support material based on revised processes.
- Monitor project risks and proactively identify solutions to address potential problems.
- Ensure business impact and project objectives are identified, reported, and managed at all times.
- Set up programs, deliver coaching, and run projects across plants.
- Complete post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery and improvements for future projects.
- Continuously improve efficiency KPIs in manufacturing sites.
- Implement lean methods to increase efficiency, throughput, and operational excellence.
- Support plant teams in benchmarking, problem-solving, and continuous improvement programs.
- Support operations in designing, developing, and implementing policy deployment within the business.
- Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.
- Ensure ongoing learning and development of employees in Lean improvement tools and communication methods.
- Coach and facilitate teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
- Manage cross-functional team members and interact professionally with diverse groups.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Good honors degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Excellent understanding of continuous improvement concepts, including Six Sigma and Lean.
- Strong analytical, project, and product management skills.
- Ability to set up and lead service improvement workshops with business stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in designing or implementing a continuous improvement framework.
- Hands-on experience in implementing continuous improvement programs and Lean solutions.
