Hotel Operations Director serves as the strategic business leader of Hotel Operations. Key areas of responsibility include Front Office, Recreation/Health Club, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage/Culinary, and Engineering/Maintenance departments. This role works closely with department heads to develop and implement departmental strategies aligned with the brand's service strategy and initiatives.

The position ensures that Hotel Operations meet brand standards, exceed customer needs, achieve employee satisfaction, focus on revenue growth, and maximize financial performance. It also involves developing property-wide strategies that deliver products and services meeting or exceeding target customer and employee expectations.

The ideal candidate will possess a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, with 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales, marketing, management operations, or related professional areas. Alternatively, a 4-year bachelor's degree in a similar field is required with 2 years of experience.

This role involves core work activities such as managing profitability, demonstrating key drivers of guest satisfaction, analyzing service issues, making decisions to drive progress toward goals, working with hotel management to develop an operational strategy, monitoring sales performance, reviewing financial statements, coaching operations teams, leading operations and department teams, championing the brand's service vision, communicating clear messages regarding departmental goals, managing the guest experience, reviewing guest feedback, responding to complaints, staying visible to customers, creating a positive atmosphere, managing human resources activities, facilitating creative solutions, ensuring fair treatment of employees, fostering commitment to excellent service, setting goals and expectations for direct reports, soliciting employee feedback, and conducting annual performance appraisals.

This role requires strong leadership skills, including ability to communicate effectively, build relationships with team members, drive results, manage change, and promote a culture of excellence.
