Lead and Oversee Complex Projects

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Project Management Construction- Real Estate Project to lead and oversee complex projects from conceptualization through quality assurance and handover.

This role requires a high level of technical expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

  • Schedule and Coordinate Planning: Set project baselines, schedules, and reporting mechanisms for large-scale developments such as high-rise buildings, hotels, resorts, hospitals, and commercial infrastructure.
  • Contract Administration: Conduct contract familiarization; attend kickoff/concept meetings and prepare site organization charts and resource plans.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and input on construction schedules; develop site infrastructure requirements and budget costs.
  • Engineering Coordination: Participate in 3D model reviews, constructability studies, and provide construction-related inputs.
  • Budgeting and Cost Estimation: Coordinate engineering disciplines for BOQ/tendering, estimate costs, prepare tenders, analyze technical bids, and participate in price negotiations for EPC contracts.
  • Site Management: Set up site offices and infrastructure, monitor resource availability and construction materials.
  • Project Closeout: Oversee billing schedules, progress reviews, contractor bill processing, and subcontracts closeout.
  • Risk Management: Resolve technical and contractual site queries, manage documentation for claims/escalations, and prepare completion reports with lessons learned.
  • Leadership Development: Lead and guide project managers, refine project management processes, and ensure efficient delivery from conceptualization through QA and handover.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor schedules, cost, quality, and performance; identify risks and mitigation plans.
  • Culture Building: Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment and drive daily stand-ups, client meetings, and retrospective reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Technical Expertise: High-level communication, decision-making, and technical field skills.
  • Exceptional Leadership Abilities: Expert coordination of cost, time, and quality parameters; MIS reporting; contractor billing and rate negotiation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Projects, and Primavera.
  • Innovative Problem-Solving: Fast-track planning abilities and out-of-the-box thinking.
Qualifications and Experience:

  • BE Civil Engineering Degree:
  • Minimum 25 years' experience: in project planning, scheduling, procurement, contracts, architecture, design, and quality assurance for construction projects.
