As a construction project leader, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects and ensuring they align with organizational goals and customer expectations.

Main Responsibilities:Project Oversight
  • Implement and enforce Product Lifecycle Management policies across all projects to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Maintain visibility into project statuses and provide key insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • E nsure adherence to contractual obligations, including Bank Guarantees, insurances, and statutory requirements, to minimize risk.
  • Monitor project timelines and advise on Liquidated Damages penalties, Extensions of Time, and recovery or extension of Bank Guarantees as necessary.
Budget Planning & Capex Management
  • Collaborate with Design, Projects, and Supply Chain Management teams to develop project budgets that meet organizational objectives.
  • Streamline the process for generating and approving Non-Fundable Approvals requests in line with approved project budgets.
  • Create a comprehensive Budget Tracker for projects, promptly notifying senior management of any cost overruns to facilitate corrective action.
  • Work with project and SCM teams to develop accurate Capex forecasts, enabling effective project planning and resource allocation.
Customer Engagement & Reporting
  • Compile detailed Management Information System reports for senior management meetings and generate progress updates highlighting key achievements and challenges.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules aligned with customer commitments; prepare detailed reports for customers showcasing project progress and future projections.
  • Lead meetings with customers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and manage expectations effectively.
  • Foster open communication channels to oversee the design process through to construction issue resolution in collaboration with customer SMEs.
  • Compile and disseminate reports and Minutes of Meeting to ensure transparency and build trust.

Conduct regular on-site visits for customers to provide project insights and updates, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Stakeholder Relations
  • Establish and maintain regular communication channels to keep stakeholders informed about project progress, milestones, and decisions.
  • Promote transparency and openness in communications to build trust and credibility with stakeholders.
  • Develop strong relationships by actively listening to stakeholder concerns and addressing their needs proactively.
  • Engage stakeholders in project activities and decision-making processes where appropriate, fostering a collaborative environment.
