Compliance Officer Role

The Compliance Officer will play a key role in monitoring and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards across residential child care homes.

This includes conducting regular audits to verify accuracy of records and safeguarding practices.

The Compliance Officer will work closely with Registered Managers and senior management teams to ensure timely reporting and accurate compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular child location audits to ensure accurate records and safeguarding practices.
  • Review and check quality reports to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Verify documentation, maintain utility certificates, and ensure all documents are accurate and updated in systems.
  • Maintain centralized audit trackers and ensure timely updates.
  • Identify gaps, trends, or non-compliance issues and escalate where necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for reporting, team coordination, and regulatory liaison.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail in reviewing reports and documents.
  • Proficiency in digital documentation tools, spreadsheets, and communication platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
