Job Profile:

The primary objective of this role is to comprehensively understand the Indian Vertical Transportation market, while promoting T&U's VT profile locally. This involves generating sales, developing business strategies, building relationships with customers and regulators, and leading professional teams in strategic locations across India.

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer, competitor, authority, and regulatory landscape of VT in India.
  • Contribute market insights for updating and refining the VT strategy for India.
Business Development and Sales

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing a business development strategy to implement growth plans provided by the BU LCC and T&U South Asia, and meet agreed-upon sales targets.
  • Positioning T&U as a leading VT authority in India through effective marketing and sales activities.
  • Identifying and creating sales leads through networking, proactive industry observation, research, and effective sales channels.
  • Maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding customer structures, needs, and constraints.
  • Scaling business growth through continuous extension of the customer base and customer retention.
  • Preparing sales presentations and materials in collaboration with the BU LCC and marketing department.
  • Coodinating joint customer presentations and visits with global VT experts from T&U.
  • Collaborating and coordinating with other T&U subsidiaries (e.g. Hungary, Middle East).
  • Monitoring upcoming events such as trade fairs, exhibitions, and conferences, and preparing and coordinating T&U's participation with the BU LCC and T&U South Asia's senior management.
Operations and Resources

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring smooth and efficient operations in accordance with T&U's QMS, meeting customer satisfaction requirements.
  • Profit and loss responsibility for T&U's VT activities in India.
  • Preparing regular progress reports.
  • Resource planning and management.
  • Recruitment, development, and leadership of further VT experts.
  • Ensuring VT experts receive necessary training for individual roles and authorization levels, and in accordance with personal development plans.
  • Authorization management (internal) in accordance with T&U's QMS.
