Job Title: Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead or participate in end-to-end implementation and support projects for Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud, focusing on US Payroll.
  2. Gather and analyze business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and translate them into functional configurations.
  3. Configure, test, and deploy Oracle HCM modules, specifically Payroll, Core HR, and Absence Management.
  4. Perform system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and support go-live activities.
  5. Assist in post-production support and payroll run validations, including balancing, reconciling, and auditing payroll processes.
  6. Collaborate with technical teams to design and test inbound and outbound integrations with third-party systems (benefits, tax vendors, time & labor).
  7. Prepare functional design documents, test scripts, SOPs, and training materials for end users.
  8. Evaluate compliance with US federal, state, and local tax regulations in payroll processing.
  9. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and Oracle technical teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Consultant.
  2. At least 2 full lifecycle implementations of Oracle Fusion HCM US Payroll module.
  3. Deep understanding of US payroll rules, taxation, garnishments, pre/post-tax deductions, and year-end processing.
  4. Functional knowledge of Core HR, Absence Management, Time & Labor, and Workforce Compensation is preferred.
  5. Ability to design payroll elements, fast formulas, validation rules, and payroll flows.
  6. Proficiency in creating Reports using OTBI/BIP and working with HDL templates.
  7. Excellent documentation, presentation, and client communication skills.
  8. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  1. Oracle Cloud HCM Certification (Payroll or Core HR)
  2. Experience working in multi-country with Change Management, Data Conversion (HDL/FBL), and Security Roles setup
  3. Knowledge of other modules like Benefits, Performance Management, and Talent Management
