Fixed Income Valuations Researcher

We are seeking a talented researcher to join our team and contribute to the valuation of various Indian debt instruments. This role involves constructing and reviewing yield curves across issuers, sectors, and rating categories.

The ideal candidate will establish a strong network with market participants, including mutual funds, insurance companies, banks, primary dealers, brokers, arrangers, and other active investor/trader segments. They will also source and analyze trades/pricing data from various market sources for valuation purposes.

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing valuation models using Excel/VBA, ad-hoc analytical reports for senior management or external agencies, and maintaining documentation related to valuations.

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong oral, written, and presentation skills, as well as a working knowledge of MS Office products and VBA. A background in fixed income dealing experience in CP, CD, and corporate bonds in Indian debt markets is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Valuing various Indian debt instruments, including corporate bonds, money market instruments, government securities, and state development loans.
  • Constructing and reviewing yield curves across issuers, sectors, and rating categories.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with market participants, including mutual funds, insurance companies, banks, primary dealers, brokers, arrangers, and other active investor/trader segments.
  • Sourcing and analyzing trades/pricing data from various market sources for valuation purposes.
  • Preparing valuation models using Excel/VBA and ad-hoc analytical reports for senior management or external agencies.
