Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Public Relations Specialist to spearhead our consumer sector initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of media relations and be skilled at developing compelling communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceive and execute targeted public relations campaigns tailored for the consumer market.
  • Cultivate and maintain senior-level relationships with clients, ensuring alignment between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic counsel to key clients, positioning them effectively in their respective markets.
  • Foster brand awareness by highlighting the company's capabilities, talent, and achievements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, proactively managing media relations and crisis communications.
  • Analyze global, digital, and social media trends to enhance PR strategies.
  • Lead business development efforts, including new business proposals, presentations, and pitch meetings.
  • Optimize resource allocation, team performance, and communication plans to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in public relations, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Strong media relations expertise with a proven track record of securing press coverage for airlines, airports, or travel brands.
  • Experience in corporate image management, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
