Fashion Communications Lead

Job Summary:

As a seasoned communications professional, you will spearhead impactful campaigns that elevate clients across editorial, influencer, and digital platforms. You will lead communications strategy for fashion and lifestyle clients, building relationships with fashion editors, stylists, influencers, and journalists to secure impactful media placements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fashion Media Relations & Thought Leadership: Establish partnerships with key industry players to drive trend-relevant stories and secure high-impact media placements.
    • PR Strategy: Design comprehensive PR campaigns that align with each brand's aesthetic, positioning, and seasonal focus.
      • Event PR & Brand Showcases: Manage press previews, fashion events, pop-ups, and brand activations to create immersive experiences.
        • Crisis Communication: Develop strategic messaging to address sensitive brand issues.
          • Content & Messaging: Craft compelling press releases, lookbooks, fashion bios, and seasonal trend pitches to engage audiences.
            • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships between clients, designers, influencers, stylists, and fashion journalists to drive successful outcomes.
              • Executive Communications: Support fashion founders and brand leaders with media training and key message development.
                • Team Leadership: Guide a team of fashion PR executives to achieve campaign goals.
                  • Performance Metrics & Reporting: Track campaign effectiveness through media impressions, sentiment analysis, and ROI.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of public relations experience in the fashion sector.
    • Established relationships with key fashion publications.
      • Proven success in leading PR for fashion events and influencer campaigns.
        • Excellent storytelling, writing, and visual communication skills.
          • Deep understanding of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and brand building.
            • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and client-facing interactions.
