Job Summary:
The Apparel Buyer is responsible for developing and executing a product assortment strategy that aligns with brand identity and drives sales growth. This role involves trend forecasting, vendor management, pricing strategy, and sales analysis. The Buyer will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage a product mix that reflects current trends and customer preferences across all sales channels.
  • Making data-driven purchasing choices, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • Developing competitive pricing models in line with market trends and financial goals.
  • Regularly reviewing sales data, adjusting strategies, and reporting findings to senior management.
  • Collaborating with design teams to stay ahead of fashion trends and identify new product opportunities.
  • Working with marketing, and other teams to ensure seamless product launches and availability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of apparel buying experience in retail.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and trend forecasting skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and buying/planning software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
