About this role:

  • Support the lead in providing services to meet customer expectations with a focus on customer service and exception management, ensuring accurate financial transaction accounting.
  • Collaborate proactively with various functional areas to ensure appropriate accounting, financial reporting, and settlement of liabilities are accomplished efficiently.
  • Coordinate with local entities to deliver seamless service experiences.
  • Communicate with vendors to facilitate payments, aligning with business partners' needs.
  • Manage parked and blocked invoices, assessing risk and proposing actions in collaboration with business partners and in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain vendor master data and review statements regularly, i.e., invoicing in collaboration with commercial operations teams.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations for allocated accounts and ensure timely resolution of overdue items identified.
  • Support continuous improvement of services in quality and effectiveness by collaborating with line managers and peer colleagues, identifying problem trends, and ensuring troubleshooting efforts are completed until permanent solutions are found.
  • Process credit card-related matters (applications, inquiries, dunning process on overdue balances on credit cards), travel requests, advance payment requests, and expense reports in line with the company's expense manuals, flagging any noncompliance in a timely manner.

About you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is preferred
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • 4 to 6 years of financial experience with a major company or division of a large corporation
  • Prior experience in procure-to-pay or accounts payable is preferred; experience working in European countries is beneficial
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in SAP, ARIBA, SRM, Concur, VIM, etc.
