Key Roles and Responsibilities

As a P2P Financial Services Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless payment processing and financial management.

  • Collaborate with the P2P Lead to provide exceptional customer service, escalating exceptions and ensuring proper accounting of financial transactions.
  • Interact proactively with functional areas to guarantee accurate accounting, timely financial reporting, and settlement of liabilities.
  • Coordinate with local entities to deliver high-quality service.
  • Facilitate vendor communication to ensure alignment with business partners.
  • Manage parked, blocked invoices, assess risk, and propose actions in collaboration with business partners and in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Oversee direct debits and bill of exchange transactions in partnership with Reporting and related banks.
  • Perform vendor master data maintenance and regular statement reviews in collaboration with Commercial Operations.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations of allocated accounts and ensure timely resolution and clean up of overdue items identified.
  • Promote continuous improvement of services in quality and effectiveness through close collaboration with line managers and peer colleagues, identifying problem trends, and ensuring troubleshooting efforts are completed for recurring problems until permanent solutions are found.
  • Process credit card-related matters (application, inquiries, dunning process on overdue balances on credit cards), travel requests, advance payment requests, and expense reports in accordance with Company's Expense Manuals and flag any noncompliance in a timely manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance (preferably).
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
  • 4-6 years of experience in financial management with a major company or division of a large corporation.
  • Previous experience in procure-to-pay or accounts payable (preferably); knowledge of European countries' regulations.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP, ARIBA, SRM, Concur, VIM, etc.
