Job Title: Financial Transaction Specialist

About the Role

This is a pivotal position within our organization, responsible for delivering high-quality services in line with customer expectations.

  1. Support the P2P Lead in providing seamless services, ensuring accurate financial transactions and effective communication with stakeholders.
  2. Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely accounting, financial reporting, and settlement of liabilities.
  3. Cultivate strong relationships with local entities to provide exceptional service.
  4. Negotiate with vendors to facilitate payment processes, aligning with business partners' requirements.
  5. Manage parked and blocked invoices, identifying potential risks and proposing solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  6. Oversight direct debits and bill of exchange transactions, working closely with Reporting and bank teams.
  7. Maintain Vendor Master Data and conduct regular statement reviews, ensuring invoicing accuracy.
  8. Perform balance sheet reconciliations, resolving issues promptly and cleaning up overdue items.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • 4-6 years of experience in finance, preferably in procure-to-pay or accounts payable roles within large corporations
  • Familiarity with European countries and SAP, ARIBA, SRM, Concur, VIM systems (desired)
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial regulations
