Payroll Specialist

This is a highly skilled position responsible for comprehensive payroll management, statutory compliance, and compensation administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process monthly, quarterly, and annual payrolls for employees.
  • Manage salary inputs, deductions, bonuses, leaves, and attendance data.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance including Provident Fund, Employees' State Insurance, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Income Tax (Tax Deduction at Source), and other applicable laws.
  • Prepare and validate salary sheets for error-free disbursement.
  • Coordinate with Finance for timely salary transfer and variable calculation inputs.
  • Handle payroll-related employee queries.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Analytical and logical thinking for payroll data management and error resolution.
  • Deep understanding of payroll processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Working knowledge of payroll software.
