We are seeking an experienced Compensation Specialist to oversee weekly, monthly, and bi-weekly payroll processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in implementing and supporting automated systems for accurate and timely compensation delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of compensation principles to resolve issues such as salary administration, benefits enrollment, and time-off management.
- Utilize strong communication skills to understand client requirements, negotiate collective bargaining agreements, and provide solutions for production issues and enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless compensation management from start to finish.
- Maintain 100% accuracy while processing payroll, including stop payments and re-issuance as required.
- Manage wage garnishment deductions, ACH rejects, and research payroll tickets or queries.
- Perform payroll state registration (SIT/UI/Local Taxes if required).
- Prepare final checks (Termination) based on state compliance.
- Prior experience with implementing and maintaining QuickBooks Online, Gusto, Rippling, ADP Run, ADP WFN, Trinet, Paylocity, Justworks etc., is required.
- Ability to generate various required compensation reports from respective systems.
- Maintain open communication with clients, employees, and vendors in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing in accordance with procedures and client requirements.
- Conduct pre/post-payroll and tax reconciliations.
- Demonstrate strong time and priority management skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets) is required.
