Job Title:

US Accounting and Payroll Specialist

Description:

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US GAAP and payroll compliance, as well as experience with QuickBooks, ADP, Gusto, or similar platforms.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll for clients in accordance with federal and state regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of employee compensation, benefits, and deductions
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close procedures
  • Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reports
  • Communicate with teams to ensure timely and compliant deliverables
  • Support tax filings and compliance documentation as needed
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting and payroll (preferred)
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, ADP, Gusto, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and payroll compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines across time zones
