Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and architect new systems and solutions
  2. Optimize existing solutions through creative problem-solving
  • Automate DevOps and SRE tasks such as infrastructure provisioning, deployment, observability, and incident lifecycle
  • Collaborate with development teams throughout the lifecycle to enhance software reliability and scalability
Day-to-Day Activities
  1. Work with Kubernetes clusters hosted in cloud environments
  2. Use InfrastructureAsCode tooling like Terraform and Ansible to manage cloud resources
  3. Engage with development teams to develop software for reliability and scale
  4. Troubleshoot high-priority incidents and conduct blameless post-mortems
  5. Perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns
  6. Develop and drive adoption of self-healing and resiliency patterns
  7. Design automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions
  8. Design, code, test, and deliver software to automate manual operational work
  9. Optimize performance and cost for infrastructure
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, or related field
  2. 3+ years of professional experience
  3. Experience with administering Kubernetes clusters
  4. Experience with managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  5. Direct production operations experience in a cloud environment
  6. Experience contributing to technology and product strategy
  7. Experience leading capability-building initiatives across diverse areas
