Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist - Desktop and End User Computing to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to end-users, ensuring seamless delivery of desktop and laptop hardware, software, and network services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance with desktop and laptop hardware, software, network issues, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot Windows and Mac OS platforms, including mobile devices running Apple iOS and Android mobile OS.
  • Setup and configuration of end-user desktops, laptops, hardware, software, printers, mobile phones, and peripherals.
  • Provide step-by-step instructions for installing applications and document incidents, service requests, and their resolutions in the internal ticketing system.
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel and contribute to creating technical documentation and manuals (Knowledge Articles) for known issues.
  • Image and deploy laptops/desktops/tablets to end-users, manage assets, and coordinate office moves.
  • Collect inventory, rack elevations, and photos of rooms and racks for asset management purposes.
  • Provide white-glove support to identified onsite VIPs, including expedited end-user device troubleshooting, proactive support, monitoring, and health checks.
Requirements
  • Experience in technical support, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS platforms, including mobile devices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
