  • They will be responsible for configuring and customizing Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
  • This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining Jira projects, workflows, schemes, custom fields, permissions, and notifications.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Jira solutions.
  • They will also establish governance, standards, and best practices for Jira usage across the organization.
  • Additionally, they will manage user access, roles, and security settings in line with organizational policies.
  • They will monitor Jira system performance, conduct regular health checks, and manage upgrades or migrations.
  • The ideal candidate will integrate Jira with other enterprise tools and platforms.
  • They will develop dashboards, reports, and metrics to support leadership and operational teams.
  • Mentorship and guidance of junior Jira administrators or support staff are also essential responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills will enable the successful candidate to work closely with IT, DevOps, and business teams to ensure seamless Jira adoption and usage.

  • 7 to 9 years of experience in Jira administration, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of Jira Software (Cloud and/or Data Center) and Confluence administration.
  • Proven experience designing complex workflows, schemes, and automation rules.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira integrations, APIs, and add-ons/marketplace apps.
