Key Position Overview

The RFP Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the company s efforts to secure business through high-quality Request for Proposal (RFP) responses. This position requires an individual with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally to manage the RFP response process from end to end.

Responsibilities
  • Content Development: Draft, edit, and organize high-quality, accurate, and engaging RFP responses, ensuring compliance with the RFP requirements.
  • Develop executive summaries, technical content, value propositions, and supporting documents for proposals.
  • Maintain a repository of reusable content, boilerplates, and past performance data to streamline future responses.
Proposal Writing
  • Create well-structured, persuasive, and visually appealing proposals.
Skills and Qualifications

This role requires a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A Master s degree or certification in RFP management is a plus. Additionally, 3-5 years of experience in an RFP Specialist or Proposal Writing role is necessary, preferably within the professional services, technology, or education sectors.

  • Technical Skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives that align with client needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience with CRM systems like HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with proposal management software (Qvidian, RFPIO, or similar) is an advantage.
