Pricing Manager Job Description

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute pricing strategies that maximize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness across video telematics and safety solutions.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with sales, finance, product, and marketing teams to ensure pricing decisions align with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Drive pricing governance, manage promotions, and analyze pricing elasticity to optimize growth and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Pricing Strategy Development: Design, implement, and refine pricing models that drive revenue growth while ensuring competitiveness in the market.
  2. Pricing Communication: Communicate pricing decisions to cross-functional teams to enable successful adoption.
  3. Pricing Analysis: Monitor competitive landscape, market trends, and customer behavior to adjust pricing strategies as needed.
  4. Promotions and Discounts: Lead the development and governance of pricing promotions and discounting programs.
  5. Financial Analysis: Analyze the financial implications of pricing, the performance of promotions, and propose adjustments to maximize effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in pricing, finance, or related roles, ideally in SaaS, telematics, or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing pricing models in a tech environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to drive pricing decisions.
  • Excellent Excel skills including the ability to program in Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with pricing tools, Salesforce, and data analysis software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
