Job Title: Lead Pricing Specialist

About the Role:

We seek a seasoned expert in pricing solutions to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years of experience in software development, specifically in price management and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement complex pricing strategies on various platforms, including data models and integrations.
  • Develop and optimize pricing logic, including calculations, formulas, and data handling to meet intricate business requirements.
  • Design and build data models within pricing systems, ensuring data integrity, performance, and alignment with pricing strategies.
  • Oversee ETL processes for data ingestion into pricing systems from various source systems.
  • Conduct in-depth performance tuning and optimization of pricing solutions, ensuring efficient calculation engines and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and technical teams to translate pricing strategies into robust pricing configurations and custom developments.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of pricing developers, fostering best practices, code quality, and efficient development methodologies.
  • Manage solution testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure delivered solutions meet functional and performance requirements.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues within pricing environments, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all pricing solutions, configurations, and processes.

Required Skills:

  • 7-12 years of experience in software development, with significant hands-on experience specifically in pricing development and implementation.
  • Deep expertise in pricing platform functionalities.
  • Extensive experience with pricing scripting and calculations.
  • Strong understanding of pricing data models and integration capabilities.
  • Proficiency in ETL processes and data handling within pricing ecosystems.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of pricing solutions.
  • Solid understanding of pricing concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and guide junior developers.
