Proposal Specialist Role Overview

Job Description:

This role is part of the proposal and bid management support within a sales enablement team, which drives business wins for key businesses. The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality proposals in response to requests for proposal (RFPs) from clients.

  • Build knowledge and understanding of service offerings and strategic priorities
  • Review RFPs and client materials to gain a complete understanding of client requirements
  • Work closely with pursuit teams to resolve open items during the proposal development process
  • Perform final reviews of proposal drafts
  • Assist with the development of templates, systems, and processes for measuring RFP success
  • Carry out content management activities, including collecting and updating content for a proposal language database and extracting best practice content
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate or Graduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics preferred
  • 5-8 years of experience in pre-sales/bid management environment
  • Experience working as part of bid teams in professional services environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent customer service focus
