The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, understanding of business process management, and experience responding to technical RFPs from large firms and government organizations, coupled with strong writing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to complex RFPs relating to government organizations by gathering information from existing RFPs, documentation, and technical experts within the company.
  • Write a draft response, obtain approvals, and submit the proposal and supporting documents to the requester.

Requirements:

  • Determine proposal requirements by identifying and clarifying objectives within the RFPs.
  • Gather proposal information by identifying sources of information, coordinating with key providers, and other internal contributors for additional information if needed.
  • Produce quality responses to RFPs by following proposal-writing standards, including readability, consistency, and tone.
  • Establish priorities and target dates to ensure proposals are submitted on time.
  • Maintain records of all proposals submitted and received.
  • Gather and store feedback on proposals to help improve proposal content and process.
