Infrastructure Program Manager Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Program Manager with extensive experience in leading complex, multi-team initiatives to oversee the agile delivery of global enterprise IT infrastructure and security projects. This role requires a unique blend of program management skills and technical understanding of infrastructure domains including cloud platforms, network systems, and enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and facilitation skills to lead Scrum ceremonies for multiple infrastructure teams, remove impediments and blockers that impact team velocity and program delivery, and foster a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional infrastructure programs involving multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver strategic business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, release plans, and dependency management frameworks to ensure alignment between infrastructure delivery and business objectives.
  • Manage program-level risks, issues, and escalations with senior leadership to mitigate potential threats and ensure smooth program execution.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and program health metrics to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendor partners and third-party service providers to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification required.
  • Advanced Scrum Master certification (CSP-SM, PSM II/III) preferred.
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification (SPC, RTE, or SA) highly preferred.
  • Program Management Professional (PgMP) or equivalent program management certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Scrum Master experience with at least 3 years in infrastructure or platform teams.
  • 3+ years of program management experience leading complex, multi-team initiatives.
  • Proven track record managing infrastructure programs (cloud platforms, networking, enterprise applications).
  • Experience with infrastructure technologies: AWS/Azure, networking protocols, databases, monitoring tools.
  • Strong background in IT Service Management (ITIL) and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with agile scaling frameworks in enterprise environments.
