Job Description:

The Senior Manager of Information Systems will lead and develop a strong team of infrastructure engineers, set priorities to support the organization's goals, and manage 24/7 operations for VMWare and Citrix Infrastructure service delivery. Key responsibilities include establishing operational metrics, monitoring virtualization infrastructure, leading incident response, ensuring regulatory compliance, generating regular reports, driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing resource allocation, partnering with business collaborators, and maintaining strategic relationships.

This position requires excellent leadership and team management skills, transformation and change management experience, exceptional collaboration and communication skills, high initiative and self-motivation, ability to manage multiple priorities, team orientation with a focus on achieving team goals, strong presentation and public speaking skills, analytical and troubleshooting skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Masters degree and 8-10 years of experience in Infrastructure Operations with at least 3 years of management experience, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing infrastructure services and teams with a track record of successful innovation.
  • Experience in people management, leading matrixed teams, passion for mentorship, culture, and fostering talent development.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple activities and priorities with minimal direction in a rapidly changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Leadership role within a pharmaceutical or technology organization.
  • Analytic/critical-thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • DevOps, S/W development, and scripting skills.
  • Good knowledge of industry tools.
